Implicit Association Test site

Take the implicit association test.

  1. So, I took the test and was found to have a moderate preferance for European Americans. I actually just found this task frustrating, and I feel unsure as to how accurate it is. For one thing, I'm left handed and I wonder how that has an effect...Plus, I had people walking around and bothering me during it, which I think affected my mind concentration as well. I would just like to hear how others scored with this... If anything I was just confused on my left and rights after the first test--compared to the words being shown. I think I would have had a different outcome (better or worse) if more time was taken between tests...I feel like that would be more accurate though...

    Just wondered what others thought.

  2. This test was wayyyy frustrating. I found myself stopping and catching myself responding with things that I didn't mean to respond with. I felt as though there was a priming effect and that because I originally associated a white face with "bad" and found that when the test switched, I registered in my head what to press, but my hands responded faster because they were used to the previous test.
